While visiting on business, be sure to take advantage of any spare evenings and get to know Akron-Canton. Several major attractions stay open later in the evening one day of the week, and shopping centers and boutiques are often open after 5pm, too.


MUSEUMS / MUSIC / THEATER:
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1100 Rock and Roll Boulevard, Cleveland 44114), a mecca for true rock and roll fans and history buffs, extends its hours until 9pm on Wednesdays.

Another great option for a night out is Bricco Akron (1 West Exchange Street, Akron 44308), open until 11pm daily. Follow an order of Ahi Tuna or shrimp penne with an event at one of the downtown performance venues. Check the schedules of Akron Civic Theatre (182 South Main Street, Akron 44308) and The Akron Symphony Orchestra (92 North Main Street, Akron 44308) and take in an evening show.

SHOPPING MALLS / LIFESTYLE CENTERS:
First and Main Hudson
(First and Main Street, Hudson 44236) has brands shoppers know and love, like Jos A. Bank, LOFT and Chico’s, sprinkled in with local companies, giving visitors the chance to shop, grab a bite to eat and find plenty to do. Hours vary based on individual businesses.

Summit Mall (3265 West Market Street, Fairlawn 44333), open until 9pm Monday through Saturday and 6pm on Sunday, has options like American Eagle Outfitters, Coach, Apple, Gap, Bare Minerals, Express, Loft and Sephora.

Belden Village Mall (4320 Belden Village Street NW, Canton 44718), also open until 9pm Monday through Saturday and 6pm on Sunday, carries stores such as Bath & Body Works, Buckle, Champs, Finish Line, Kay Jeweler’s and Macy’s, among many others.

UNIQUE SHOPPING:
Don Drumm Studios & Gallery (437 Crouse Street, Akron 44311), open until 6pm Monday through Wednesday and Friday and until 8pm on Thursday, offers jewelry, glass, sculpture, ceramics, metal, graphics, games and toys in a collection by over 500 artists.

Northside Marketplace (21 Furnace Street, Akron 44308), open Monday through Thursday until 8pm, Friday and Saturday until 9pm and Sunday until 6pm, is ideal for checking out the local business scene from shops to bakeries and coffee shops to galleries and more.
